Petro imen Sharif Engineering Company was founded in 2009 by a number of engineers and experts who graduated from Iran’s top universities who believe in the slogan of wanting to create and with an accelerating point in scientific movements in the field of environment. In the first decade of the establishment of the company, the focus of activities has been on holding training courses, especially in the environment sector, which resulted in the successful implementation of more than 150 technical and engineering projects and 300 thousand hours of specialized training and cooperation and membership in growth centers. Tehran University and the growth centers of Sanat Naft University are also included in their portfolio.

From the beginning of 2017, studies related to the management of burnt edible oil waste began, and after about a year, by taking advantage of the experiences of scientific institutions inside and outside the country, as well as examining existing successful examples, especially in developed countries, this The company succeeded in localizing the process of collecting and processing burnt edible oil in the country. Further, since 2018, with the establishment of two industrial units for the collection of burnt edible oil, this company started the management of this type of waste in the country (as the first industrial unit).

The result of this group’s efforts so far is the construction of two factories in Eshtehard Industrial Town (Alborz Province) and the purchase of the oldest oil waste management factory with a history of 24 years of activity in this field in Cherm Shahr Industrial Town (Tehran Province), establishment of representative offices in more than 50 cities in He pointed out the direction of collecting this type of waste and covering all the provinces of the country and creating employment for more than 250 people across the country.

petro imen Sharif Production Company, according to its records and the amount of effective exports, has succeeded in obtaining the license of authorized economic operators of the first level (AEO) with the notification number 1400/1452536 dated 10/23/1400 from the Vice-Chancellor of Customs Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This license can be uploaded and viewed on the customs website of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also, following the call of the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran to send documents for the selection of customs nominees, Petro Imen Sharif Company succeeded in receiving and establishing itself as the first level customs nominee of 1402.

Also, with elite university graduates and several years of laboratory and industrial work, this company succeeded in establishing the knowledge of producing industrial oil for biodiesel from the waste of burnt edible oil for the first time in the country, at the level of a technologist, and this certificate was issued in November 1402 from the honorable vice president for science and technology. This work is completely indigenous knowledge and has been obtained in the laboratory and factory of Petro imen Sharif Company.
